Recently I created a graphic for a training I gave on neurodivergent-affirming psychological evaluations, and I wanted to share it here! While neurodivergence encompasses a wide range of experiences, this post focuses on two of the most common referral questions I receive: ADHD and autism.

Often, when clients come to me for an ADHD or autism evaluation, they are well aware of their challenges—feedback from others has likely reinforced this. However, they may not recognize their own strengths or the unique strengths often associated with neurodivergence.

The list I’m sharing is not exhaustive, but it highlights some of the incredible strengths I’ve observed in the neurodivergent individuals I’ve had the privilege to meet and work with.

What are some strengths you’ve noticed in yourself or others who are neurodivergent?
