Breathe: Mindfulness Practices with Dr. Emily

Dr. Emily Haygeman has been practicing yoga and mindfulness personally for over 25 years. She is a 500 hour registered yoga teacher, and is trained in Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, Mindful Schools, and the Just Breathe program for teens. She has taught yoga and mindfulness in schools, community centers, hospitals, yoga studios, and private practice.

Her dissertation research focused on the effect of mindfulness programs on teen stress and coping. Currently, they utilize aspects of mindfulness-based therapy in their therapeutic work, as well as relying heavily on these practices for their own well-being and peace-of-mind. They are happy to offer a range of guided mindfulness exercises.
